This role provides professional support in areas of Talent Acquisition, Policy Interpretation, Classification and Compensation. The HR Consultant will review intake forms and job/position descriptions for appropriate classification, assist supervisors in setting salaries, and perform other duties as assigned. They will also assist employees and supervisors with performance management workflows, provide general information regarding policies and procedures, develop job postings, screen applications, and participate in recruitment events. Additionally, the role involves reviewing employment recommendations, conducting pre-employment verifications, and attending statewide meetings to stay informed and share information.
