About The Position

As an HR Compliance Manager with American Security Force, you will ensure the security, safety, and well-being of client sites by collaborating with internal teams to address risk, resolve issues proactively, and maintain a high standard of professionalism. The HR Compliance Manager plays a key role in fostering a positive work environment, supporting employees, and ensuring that both company and client expectations are always met. Including assisting with audits, investigations, and corrective actions as needed.

Requirements

  • Applicants must be at least 18 years of age
  • HR compliance experience is required
  • Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Have a minimum of five years of verifiable work experience
  • A valid California Driver’s License with a clean driving record is required
  • Strong customer service skills are essential
  • Reliable transportation is necessary
  • Candidates must be able to commute to various sites as required
  • Attention to detail is critical for accurate documentation and compliance tracking
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to background checks and drug screening in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in the security industry is considered an asset
  • Experience with hiring processes, including interviewing, is preferred
  • An active California Guard Card is a PLUS
  • Relevant certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP), OSHA 30-hour, or their equivalents are highly regarded

Responsibilities

  • Manage verbal and written warnings, including terminations
  • Conduct risk assessment and safety audits to identify potential hazards in the workplace
  • Learn, implement, and consistently enforce established protocols in full alignment with all applicable regulatory requirements, including but not limited to OSHA, ISO, HIPAA standards, and internal safety programs
  • Staying current on regulatory updates
  • Ensuring policies and procedures are properly documented
  • Training staff on compliance expectations
  • Monitoring adherence through regular audits
  • Taking corrective action as needed to maintain a safe, compliant, and risk-aware work environment
  • Creating policies and procedures to ensure compliance with employment and regulations
  • Leading Investigations of incidents to determine root causes and recommend preventive actions
  • Prepare and present report on incidents, trends and safety performance to management
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on health and safety procedures
  • Maintain and inspect guards’ sites when needed
  • Collaborate with management to develop and update safety policies and procedures
  • Stay updated on changes in safety regulations to ensure they are compliant with current laws
  • Coordinate and maintain compliance with documentation
  • Commute to client sites as needed to provide the employees with any forms required by the company
  • Support with scheduling, onboarding, and terminating employees
  • Supporting compliance with company policies and procedures
