This non-exempt internship position pays $12.00 per hour and allows for a maximum of twenty hours of work per week. We are seeking a college student who is currently pursuing a degree from an accredited program in Communications, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field with a junior or senior undergraduate status preferred. Work hours are flexible within our business hours of 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, to accommodate classes and other activities. This position provides comprehensive support for the Human Resources and Corporate Communications Manager, combining responsibilities in Corporate Communications and Human Resources to offer a well-rounded experience. The role plays a key part in maintaining organizational compliance, fostering a culture of integrity, and promoting effective communication both internally and externally. As an intern, you will assist in ensuring the organization is up to date on all communications practices (digital & print media, public and community engagement, etc.) while adhering to legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.
