This role is accountable for consulting with employees and managers to deliver employment related programs and services including immigration, leave of absence, unemployment, and worker’s compensation; contributing to the delivery of workforce policies; and various reports including OSHA logs. The role manages all aspects of employment-based immigration for FNBO, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and supporting talent acquisition goals. It acts as a primary point of contact for immigration matters, coordinating between employees, hiring managers, legal counsel, and government agencies, and partners with Talent Acquisition on visa sponsorship decisions. The role manages end-to-end immigration processes including H-1B, PERM, green card, and other categories. In conjunction with outside counsel, it prepares, reviews, and submits immigration petitions and applications to USCIS, Department of Labor, and other relevant agencies. It monitors case deadlines and ensures timely filing of petitions, extensions, and renewals, maintains accurate tracking systems and documentation, and stays current on immigration policy changes, assessing impact and preparing for and managing government audits or site visits. The role also administers and manages all employee leave programs for FNBO, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, and providing support to employees during critical life events. It acts as a primary resource for leave-related matters, coordinating between employees, managers, benefits providers, and legal counsel to ensure seamless administration. It administers all leave programs including FMLA, ADA accommodations, workers’ compensation, personal leaves, military leaves, and state-specific leave and/or sick pay entitlements. It reviews and processes leave requests, determines eligibility, and communicates decisions to employees and managers, coordinates and calculates full and intermittent entitlements, and processes disability claims and coordinates with third-party administrators. It ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations; monitors regulatory changes and emerging trends; and manages job restoration requirements. Additionally, the role manages unemployment insurance claims, prepares for and attends hearings, protects FNBO's interests, and ensures compliance with state unemployment regulations, serving as a liaison between FNBO, state unemployment agencies, and the third-party administrator. In conjunction with Enterprise Sourcing, it manages FNBO's workers' compensation program, ensures appropriate action for employees, and maintains regulatory compliance, serving as a primary liaison between employees, managers, healthcare providers, insurance carriers, and regulatory agencies. This role will also back up the HR Solution One Case/Ops Team as volumes ebb and flow and may assist with basic Employee Relations matters rarely.
