About The Position

The HR Shared Services Associate provides administrative and operational support for a wide range of human resources processes. This role serves as a primary point of contact for employees and managers, responding to HR inquiries, maintaining employee records, supporting HR transactions, and ensuring a high level of customer service while maintaining confidentiality and compliance.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in HR, customer service, shared services, or an administrative support role.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM).
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and customer-focused mindset.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience working in a shared services or high-volume HR environment.
  • Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment practices.
  • Familiarity with case management systems and service-level agreements (SLAs).

Responsibilities

  • Process HR transactions accurately and timely, including hires, terminations, transfers, promotions, and employee data changes.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure data integrity within HR systems.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding activities, including documentation and system updates.
  • Assist with benefits administration and coordinate with vendors as needed.
  • Monitor and manage HR service requests through ticketing or case management systems.
  • Generate reports and provide data support for HR metrics and audits.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable employment laws.
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and enhance the employee experience.
