The HR Business Partner functions as a trusted advisor to business leaders, seamlessly blending business acumen with human insight to drive performance and engagement. The HR Business Partner acts as a strong employee advocate and champions an inclusive, positive employee experience. Balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution, the HR Business Partner crafts innovative strategies that align with business goals and tackles complex employee issues with finesse. This is a hybrid role based out of Calgary, AB, working a combination of days in office and from home. What to Expect in Your First 3 Months First 30 Days: Conduct 1-on-1 "getting to know you" meetings with all leaders in your client group and members of the Human Resources team Complete Introduction to UltiPro/UKG Pro Canada and Employee Administration training courses Review and understand all company policies and procedures for your assigned client group First 60 Days: Demonstrate an understanding of the organization's compensation philosophy and support with compensation planning Review employee engagement survey results and support the action planning process Become familiar with the organization's talent management ecosystem (Thrive) and recognition program (Shine) First 90 Days: Demonstrate a basic understanding of your assigned client group's business operating model Become familiar with HR dashboards (Employee Listening Program and Shine) and reporting tools (headcount, turnover), and begin applying data-driven insights to HR solutions Complete training courses on additional UltiPro/UKG Pro modules (recruitment, onboarding, talent management, salary planning) Complete all required items in the New Employee Onboarding (NEO) program
