About The Position

The HR Business Partner supports managers and employees by providing day-to-day HR guidance across employee relations, performance management, staffing support, and policy interpretation. This role partners closely with leaders at assigned sites to reinforce consistent people practices, promote a positive and compliant workplace culture, and support organizational change initiatives. The HR Business Partner serves as a trusted resource for managers, helping address routine employee concerns, coaching on expectations and corrective actions, and escalating complex matters to HR leadership as needed. Through regular site engagement, data analysis, and collaboration with recruiting and training teams, this role helps drive employee engagement, retention, and operational effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field strongly preferred.
  • 5+ years of HR experience either in an HR Generalist, HR Coordinator, or similar role supporting employee relations, recruiting or HR operations.
  • Strong working knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, with the ability to apply policies consistently and escalate complex issues appropriately.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and support managers on routine employee relations matters, performance expectations, and documentation standards.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze basic workforce data and employee trends to support retention, engagement and staffing discussions.
  • Experience partnering with recruiting and training teams to support hiring, onboarding and development initiatives.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in the use of computers and Microsoft Suite.

Nice To Haves

  • PHR or SPHR certification or any other advanced accreditations preferred.
  • Bilingual in Spanish.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct monthly site visits and provide guidance on employee relations.
  • Coach managers on corrective actions, conflict resolution and expectations.
  • Provide guidance on policy interpretation.
  • Partner with recruiting to clarify hiring needs and ensure job requisitions reflect accurate staffing needs.
  • Participate in screening, interviewing and selecting appropriate personnel as needed.
  • Support managers to analyze productivity and caseloads to recommend staffing adjustments.
  • Collaborate with managers to identify development needs and support training initiatives.
  • Facilitate manager/employee meetings when conflicts or performance issues arise.
  • Analyze employee trends to improve retention and engagement.
  • Help managers to support change initiatives.
  • Partner with VP of HR to identify potential employee relations risks, investigations and recommend proactive solutions.
  • Oversee job descriptions updates and ensure they are accurate and remain updated.
  • Produce and validate recurring HR reports such as headcount, turnover, onboarding activity, compliance status, and open requisitions.
  • Track and monitor corrective action documentation to ensure completeness, accuracy and alignment with company policies for employee relations matters.
  • Conduct, analyze and report on exit interviews.
  • Regular meetings with VP of HR for status updates.
  • Promote a positive, compliant, and inclusive workplace culture.
