About The Position

Melaleuca Inc. is seeking a dynamic HR Business Partner to join our Human Resources team. Reporting to the Senior HR Manager over our Knoxville organization, this role will support manufacturing and distribution operations by assisting leaders and team members with employee relations, recruiting, compliance, training, and HR initiatives that help drive organizational effectiveness and team member engagement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
  • 3+ years of progressive HR experience preferred
  • Experience supporting recruiting, onboarding, or employee relations activities in a manufacturing, distribution, or operations environment is preferred
  • Knowledge of federal and Tennessee labor laws
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem solving skills
  • Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and effectively support leaders and team members at all levels
  • A collaborative approach and willingness to engage in an environment of active idea sharing
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
  • The ability to produce consistent quality under deadline pressure while paying careful attention to detail
  • Self motivation and a strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Ability to handle confidential information

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a point of contact for managers and team members regarding employee relations and day to day HR matters while ensuring alignment with the Company’s values and culture
  • Support recruiting efforts for manufacturing and distribution positions, including partnering with hiring managers, coordinating interviews, and supporting the onboarding process
  • Assist the Senior HR Manager with workforce planning, retention, engagement, and performance management initiatives
  • Assist with planning and coordinating team member events and engagement activities
  • Support compensation administration, policy implementation, compliance efforts, and HR reporting
  • Maintain HRIS/ATS records and employee data integrity
  • Help ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies
  • Stay informed on employment law updates and support efforts to reduce organizational risk
  • Assist with training initiatives, onboarding, and organizational change efforts
  • Work closely with leaders and team members to help foster a positive and productive workplace culture across manufacturing and distribution operations
