This position, under general supervision, is responsible for performing a variety of analyses and tasks at an assigned location including: recruiting, employee relations, benefits, compensation, training and development, EEO and labor relations to ensure alignment with Human Resources Department objectives. The HR Business Partner will support, advise, and partner with management regarding programs and policies in all areas of Human Resources to ensure alignment and support of all HR objectives. They will act as a liaison between the corporate office and the field, assisting with audits, new program rollouts, EEO compliance, and ensuring clear understanding and compliance at the local level. The role executes the recruiting strategy for the assigned location to ensure hiring needs for professional, college, and craft positions are met. They will ensure legal compliance with various governmental laws and regulations including hiring, retention, corrective coaching, and termination processes to protect the company’s best interests. Additionally, the HR Business Partner will coach and train line managers on HR practices and procedures, including employee relations, to ensure high performers are engaged and retained. They will prepare and issue reports on recruiting, retention, advertising expenditures, and EEO compliance, and assist in planning and attending industry events and colleges to build a solid recruiting network and ensure recruitment of top talent. The role also provides input on and assists employees with employee development programs to ensure employee success and advancement opportunities, and conducts EEO and Benefits education programs for employees. The HR Business Partner must comply with, understand, and promote corporate safety initiatives to ensure a safe work environment.
