About The Position

Philadelphia Insurance Companies, a member of the Tokio Marine Group, designs, markets and underwrites commercial property/casualty and professional liability insurance products for select industries. We are looking for a HR Associate to join our Talent Development team in Bala Cynwyd, PA! The HR Associate provides Talent Development program coordination and operational support, with responsibility for recurring HR processes, program communications, reporting, Learning Management System (LMS) support, tuition reimbursement administration, vendor coordination, and small project execution. This role requires independent judgment, strong follow-through, and the ability to coordinate across stakeholders to ensure effective delivery of HR and Talent Development programs.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in coordination, HR support, onboarding, or administrative program support (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, track details, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational and time management skills
  • Strong customer service mindset with a focus on responsiveness, and ability to interact professionally with employees, managers, vendors, and external partners.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Teams).
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Nice To Haves

  • Experience coordinating logistics (meetings, events, calendars, travel, invoices)
  • Working knowledge of HR Operating systems such as; Workday, ADP, and LMS’s

Responsibilities

  • Provides support within the HR Department including administering SharePoint content, coordinating Talent Development announcements and managing the tuition reimbursement program.
  • Serves as logistics and communication coordinator for early career learning events and programs, and other programs, as assigned.
  • Provides LMS expertise.
  • Acts as vendor point of contact for program partners.
  • Supports technology for meeting and learning events both in-person and virtual.
  • Leads New Employee Orientation program support, including basic facilitation and production of virtual sessions.
  • Leads or participates in special projects and small projects of limited scope.
  • Owns and prepares monthly and ad hoc HR reports as needed, e.g., monthly HR scorecard, LMS reports, compensation and benchmarking reports, etc.
