As an Employee Relations Consultant, you will play an integral role in cultivating an inclusive, respectful, and professional environment. You will work directly with senior management to resolve complex cases, curate training and resources, and leverage analytics to advance our employee relations philosophy while mitigating business risk. As an impartial subject matter expert, you will partner with HR Business Partners, Capital’s Legal Department, and leaders across various business lines globally to address intricate employee relations matters. You will lead internal workplace investigations, ensuring consistent quality, timeliness, and an effective associate experience. In collaboration with Talent Development, you will help craft and manage employee relations resources for HR and business managers, and work with ER leadership to design and facilitate training sessions on performance management, coaching, and feedback. You will also champion the implementation of a new ER case-management system and drive its adoption across HR. Additionally, you will assist in designing an ER dashboard, share responsibility for reporting and analyzing metrics, propose recommendations for enhancements, and prioritize efforts based on key insights. To thrive in this role, you should have prior Employee Relations experience and enjoy working in complex, fast-paced environments where quality of process and results are paramount. You should have experience in or leading high-performing teams, confidence to manage through ambiguity, strategic and situational thinking, and the ability to develop innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the ER leadership to design, facilitate, and coordinate training sessions and discussion forums on performance management, coaching, and feedback.
  • Champion the implementation of a new ER case-management system and drive its adoption across HR.
  • Help with the design of an ER dashboard.
  • Have shared responsibility for reporting and analyzing metrics, proposing recommendations for enhancements to our approach, and prioritization of our efforts based on key insights.
