About The Position

This role plays an integral part across Capital Group in cultivating an inclusive, respectful, and professional environment. The Employee Relations Consultant will work directly with senior management to resolve complex cases, curate training and resources, and leverage expertise in analytics to advance the employee relations philosophy while mitigating business risk. As an impartial and objective subject matter expert, the consultant will partner with HR Business Partners, Capital’s Legal Department, and leaders across the company’s various lines of business globally to address intricate employee relations matters. This includes leading internal workplace investigations, ensuring consistent quality of results, timeliness of resolution, and an effective, supportive associate experience. In collaboration with Talent Development, the consultant will help craft and manage employee relations resources for both Human Resources and business managers. They will also work closely with ER leadership to design, facilitate, and coordinate training sessions and discussion forums on performance management, coaching, and feedback. The role involves championing the implementation of a new ER case-management system and driving its adoption across HR. Additionally, the consultant will assist in the design of an ER dashboard and share responsibility for reporting and analyzing metrics, proposing recommendations for enhancements to the approach, and prioritizing efforts based on key insights. To thrive in this role, candidates should have prior experience in Employee Relations and enjoy working in complex, fast-paced environments where the quality of both process and results are paramount.
