The HR and Recruiting Specialist is an established HR professional well versed in recruiting, employee onboarding, and orientation. This role involves building relationships to nurture and pipeline prospective candidates, managing priorities, and shifting focus between employee onboarding, HR generalist tasks, and recruiting efforts. Requirements

  • 3 years of Human Resources experience
  • 1 year of Recruiting experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or related
  • Ability to pivot quickly and be proactive in addressing HR needs
  • Prior ATS and HRIS software experience
  • Ability to maintain varying requisition loads
  • Detail oriented with high level of accuracy
  • Ability to work with highly confidential and sensitive data
  • Recognize and provide good customer service (internal/external)
  • Ability to prioritize work and multi-task
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs including Microsoft Outlook and Teams
  • Ability to work under pressure and remain calm, focused, and professional
  • Must possess good interpersonal skills, be dependable, resourceful, flexible, and a team player
  • Excellent organizational skills, time management, prioritization, and drive for success needed

Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned requisitions from post to hire.
  • Provide daily support for multiple hiring managers including interview scheduling, process management, and regular progress follow up.
  • Conduct phone screens and provide candidate feedback to hiring managers.
  • Daily upkeep of requisitions and candidate statuses within the ATS.
  • Exhibit knowledge of the legal requirements related to the hiring and management of employees.
  • Create offer letters, process background checks, order drug screens, and conduct reference checks.
  • Initiate the onboarding paperwork, complete I9 and new hire documents, and complete the onboarding process.
  • Provide orientation to new employees and review company policies.
  • Manage onboarding process including updating electronic forms and conducting 90 day follow-up meetings.
  • Maintain the personnel files, recordkeeping, and documentation required to comply with federal, state, and local laws.
  • Handle priority HR and TA projects.
  • All other duties as assigned.
