About The Position

Join our Intercruises Shoreside & Port Services team as HR Manager for People Services, leading our HR operations across the US and Canada to support our growing cruise services business. The role will be published until May 22nd, 2026. You'll be our go-to expert for US employment law, tax, and payroll queries, ensuring we stay compliant and our people are supported. We need you to evolve our People Services function into a high-performing, customer-centric service that delivers exceptional day-to-day HR operational support to colleagues across the region. Leading activities across all HR services, you'll refine and redefine processes to create an efficient and effective People Services function for the future. Playing an active role in HR systems development, you'll manage our transition toward digital HR services that make life easier for everyone. You'll build and maintain a solid foundation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring knowledge sharing across the team and consistency in our approach. Providing guidance materials and clear communications to managers and employees, you'll ensure everyone's on the same page and feels supported. Ensure accurate payroll delivery, effective benefit programs, and strong HR operations through best practices, standardization, and robust process governance, including data integrity. Lead, develop, and support the local HR team while partnering with global stakeholders and HRBPs to provide expert employment guidance, drive engagement, and build a strong talent pipeline.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Human Resources Manager.
  • Track record of success in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent knowledge of US employment law, tax, and labor requirements.
  • Confidence navigating complex compliance matters.
  • Experience in payroll management and procedures.
  • Experience managing high volumes of employees (2000+).
  • Ability to thrive in dynamic, demanding environments where priorities can shift quickly.
  • Passion for developing your team, driving engagement, and building a talent pipeline.
  • Customer-service mentality.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in maritime, tourism, and travel is advantageous.
