About The Position

The HRIS Analyst will play a primary role in the successful implementation and deployment, and the subsequent maintenance of the organization’s Human Resources Information System (HRIS). The HRIS Analyst is responsible for collaborating, planning, configuring, testing, and rolling out the HRIS while ensuring alignment with organizational goals and HR processes. Following successful deployment, the HRIS Analyst will ensure that the system continues to meet the needs of the organization by managing data integrity, optimizing system performance, and supporting system upgrades and integrations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Previous experience implementing HRIS system(s) in a key role or as part of a project team
  • Three or more years of HRIS administration
  • Understanding of HRIS and payroll data structures, approval workflow configurations, and report writing tools
  • Experience managing HRIS projects upgrades and process improvements

Nice To Haves

  • Lead role in the implementation and deployment of an HRIS
  • HRIS implementation at a high growth company
  • Certification in HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP, ADP, Oracle) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Define project goals, timelines and deliverables for the HRIS implementation
  • Create detailed timeline including plan assignments and milestone tracking
  • Ensure cross functional organizational alignment on system requirements and configurations
  • Oversee data migration to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Develop and execute testing to validate system functionality and performance
  • Assist in the development and delivery of training for end users
  • Act as a change champion to promote adoption and address resistance among users
  • Document recommendations for immediate improvements and long-term scalability
  • Provide ongoing support to resolve issues and optimize use
  • Build dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights for HR and leadership teams
  • Establish protocols for reporting accuracy, data integrity and potential limitations
  • Support Cross-Department Initiatives like workforce planning, employee engagement, compliance, etc.
  • Communicate with department heads and continually assess and ensure the system’s ability to support the organization’s growth
  • Maintain and update HRIS systems to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and provide technical support to end-users
  • Ensure data integrity by conducting regular audits and system checks.
  • Manage and maintain employee records and system updates.
  • Develop custom reports to meet HR and business needs.
  • Analyze HR data and provide insights to support decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes and optimize system performance.
  • Collaborate with HR teams to implement new functionalities and enhancements.
  • Participate in the implementation of new systems or modules.
  • Test and validate system upgrades or patches.
  • Develop user guides and training materials.
  • Conduct training sessions for HR staff and other end-users.
