Let's grow together! This role is a Temporary – 12+ month Maternity leave replacement, Full Time (40 hours) position. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the HR Advisor supports managers and employees by providing guidance on HR matters, interpreting policies, and assisting with recruitment, change management, and the implementation of HR initiatives aligned with business objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, industrial relations, or a related field
• 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in a similar position
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Professional curiosity and interest in suggesting new ways of doing things
• Strong professional support and consulting skills, including the ability to interact with members of the organization at all levels
• Independence and professional maturity, ability to work under pressure in a changing and evolving environment
• Bilingualism required (Advanced French and English) both spoken and written
• The person will be required to work and communicate regularly in English while performing the tasks outlined above
• Specifically, the role requires collaboration with global teams

Responsibilities

• Guide managers and employees in resolving various HR issues
• Advise employees and members of management on the interpretation of HR policies
• Collaborate with HR centers of expertise (recruitment, compensation, benefits, etc.) to ensure high-quality service delivery
• Ensure effective communication of HR programs and services
• Work closely with HR managers in various divisions to ensure consistent execution of HR initiatives
• Support the implementation of Couche-Tard/Circle K strategies by ensuring that overall management and HR processes are aligned with
• Support management in implementing innovative solutions by providing advice on human resources risks and opportunities
• Assist with recruitment processes, as needed, to support the Talent Acquisition Team
• Support all activities related to change management at the global and regional levels
