Requirements

  • College or University degree/diploma in Human Resources Management, or a related field.
  • Previous work experience in Human Resources; prior recruitment experience in the Engineering industry is an asset.
  • Previous experience with engaging passive talent.
  • Familiarity with Boolean search strings is an asset.
  • Strong communication skills are required.
  • Strong relationship management skills are required.
  • Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills.
  • Attention to detail in all areas of work.
  • Applicants must be eligible to work in Canada.

Nice To Haves

  • prior recruitment experience in the Engineering industry is an asset.
  • Familiarity with Boolean search strings is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and complete full-cycle recruitment organization wide.
  • Identify and engage passive talent.
  • Research new/ trending recruitment and sourcing strategies/methods.
  • Maintain an internal resume database.
  • Research and identify relevant industry networking events to attend.
  • Responsible for administrative duties, including HR filing systems, documentation, other tracking and reporting processes.
  • Support payroll and benefits administration as needed, ensuring compliance and timeliness.
  • Responsible for policy and procedure development, implementation, and updates in line with company expectations and legislation.
  • Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and workplace matters.
  • Support and foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging workplace culture through engagement and retention initiatives.
  • Lead and manage the employee onboarding process to ensure a smooth and engaging experience.
  • Manage employee offboarding processes, including terminations, ensuring internal records are kept up to date.
  • Responsible for conducting and recording performance reviews company wide.
  • Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of training programs.
  • Conduct HR analysis related to performance, retention and time/ attendance tracking.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to leadership.
  • Other duties as needed.
