About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized HR Administrator to support HR operations across Canada and the United States. Reporting to the Senior Director of Human Resources, this role will manage employee lifecycle administration, benefits coordination, HR systems, reporting, and employee support. This is a contract position through December 2026, with the potential for extension or permanent employment in 2027.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Previous HR internship or relevant administrative experience.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Advanced attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A collaborative, service-oriented approach to supporting employees and business operations.
  • Any HR internship or relevant work experience
  • Experience using HRIS platforms such as BambooHR, ADP Workforce Now, Lattice, or similar systems is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Exceptional accuracy and confidentiality when handling employee information.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with HR systems such as BambooHR, ADP Workforce Now, Lattice, or similar platforms preferred.
  • CHRP designation (or working toward one) is an asset.
  • Experience using HRIS platforms such as BambooHR, ADP Workforce Now, Lattice, or similar systems is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate onboarding and employee lifecycle activities in BambooHR, ADP, and related systems.
  • Prepare offer letters and employment documentation.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy and compliance.
  • Support employee changes, offboarding, and HR audits.
  • Assist with employer registrations and compliance requirements across Canada and the U.S.
  • Administer benefit programs, enrollments, changes, and terminations.
  • Reconcile benefit invoices and maintain accurate records.
  • Manage employee leave programs, vacation accruals, and time-off balances.
  • Provide employee support regarding benefits and leave inquiries.
  • Coordinate employee terminations and benefit cancellations.
  • Prepare offboarding documentation and employment verification letters.
  • Support reference checks, tax-related documentation, and employee inquiries.
  • Maintain employee records in performance management systems such as Lattice.
  • Coordinate performance review cycles, surveys, and employee communications.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and company programs.
  • Support payroll administration, audits, and data reconciliation activities.
  • Prepare HR reports, including headcount, benefits, and workforce metrics.
  • Assist with immigration-related processes, including OINP applications and documentation.
