About The Position

GardaWorld has an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join their team as an HR Administrator. This diverse position will support day-to-day office operations and offers developmental opportunities while working on a variety of projects and challenges. This is an office-based position at their corporate office in Toronto, Ontario.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year experience as an HR Administrator/Coordinator or in the HR field
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, schedule, and execute tasks independently
  • Excellent communication skills and fluent in written and oral English
  • Proven ability to be highly organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the documentation of employee files related to disciplinary and other HR processes
  • Assist with HR administrative duties (employment verifications, letter writing, updating spreadsheets, etc.)
  • Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and provide assistance
  • Apply sound judgment in directing people inquiries appropriately, escalating and resolving requests adhering to team mandates
  • Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the HR department
  • Assist HR Advisor during union and employee meetings
  • Perform related duties in support of the day-to-day work
