This is a temporary to full-time position that involves greeting walk-ins, managing sign-ins, and making copies of identification documents such as TWIC, safety certifications, and medical cards. The role includes scheduling drug screens (DISA, 10-panel, or plant-specific), running background checks, arranging safety courses at the safety council, issuing per diem onto pay cards, and scheduling travel and hotels for employees. The HR Admin Assist will also answer phones, understand plant-specific training and prescreening requirements, and submit badge requests upon completion of all training. Responsibilities also include saving billing items in company shared OneDrive folders, creating streamlined processes and matrices for efficiency, and learning company software. The position requires the ability to work under pressure, handle constant interruptions, stay organized, complete multiple requests daily, and possess excellent communication and follow-up skills with attention to detail. Experience with MS Excel, Word, and Outlook is necessary, as is the ability to work under strict deadlines and be a team player.
