Delivers and sets up stages, tables, chairs, podiums, materials, and equipment for commencement ceremonies, department programs, and other special events. Assembles and disassembles furniture as required. Moves and transports furniture for departments and academic units. Delivers and installs restroom and hand sanitizing dispensers. Assists HPWT Zones with cleaning and maintaining as required, specifically cleaning halls, offices, classrooms, restrooms, conference rooms, labs, gym areas, locker rooms, and elevators. This includes sweeping, dusting, dust-mopping, wet mopping, spot-mopping, and spot washing and cleaning of walls, doors, and partitions. Assists the Department by cleaning all entrances, entrance walks, steps, patios, and concourses. Empties and cleans all waste cans, trash cans, recycle bins, water fountains, and doormats. Assists HPWT Zones in other tasks as assigned or required. Required to complete training prescribed by Facilities Services Training and Education Department, and the University’s Compliance Training. Required to follow and adhere to all Building Services Standard Operating Procedures, and Facilities Services Policies and Directives.
