About The Position

This is a full-time role for an HP-UX Administrator responsible for managing and administering HP-UX servers. The position involves providing technical support for systems and applications on HPUX/Linux environments. The role requires experience with various HP-UX versions, including B.10.20A, B.10.20E, and B.11.31U, as well as exposure to storage technologies such as HPE 3PAR, Netapp Arrays, and Synology. The administrator will be responsible for installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of operating systems and hardware, as well as managing virtualization, monitoring system performance, and handling customer interactions in a professional environment. Experience with Service Guard Software, enterprise SAN management, and HPE C7000 chassis with Itanium blades is also expected.

Requirements

• Knowledge of managing and doing server administration of HP UX servers OS.
• Exposure to work in storage area (HPE 3PAR, Netapp Arrays, Synology).
• Experience with HP-UX versions: B.10.20A, B.10.20E, B.11.31U.
• Very good communication ability and can manage customer and work experience in customer environment.
• Good understanding with HPE C7000 chassis and Itanium blades.

Responsibilities

• Manage and perform server administration of HP UX servers OS.
• Provide technical support with systems and applications on HPUX/Linux systems.
• Perform installation, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of HP-UX/Linux operating systems and related peripheral hardware.
• Install, Configure and optimize HPVM virtualization stack.
• Monitor and respond to system problems utilizing a variety of testing tools and techniques.
• Monitor and troubleshoot current storage environment in terms of usage, performance, reporting and availability.
• Install, configure and monitor Service Guard Software as necessary.
• Manage and Configure enterprise SAN including fiber switches and different storage environments.
