About The Position

The Housing Support Program Manager (HSPM) is responsible for driving the economic growth, specifically in the housing domain, of the teen mothers we serve at Hope House Colorado. This position manages all housing partnerships, resources and the residential program. The HSPM informs the development of the 3-year strategic plan, and develops the annual operational plan, as it pertains to the housing domain of the Hope House program. The HSPM is a leader in the organization, participates in Leadership Team, manages his/her team and manages the budget for housing partnerships and the Residential Program. The scope of the HSPM role currently includes directly managing the housing navigators, residential assistant manager and the residential property caretaker.

Requirements

  • Three years of experience working with an at-risk population (Required)
  • At least two years of experience in a supervisory/management role (Required)
  • Available to work onsite at our Arvada location Monday-Friday, including one evening shift per week (Required)
  • Experience managing a housing program, or working in the housing field (Required)

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that strategic plan goals for housing and/or the economic domain (specifically housing) of the Hope House program are met
  • Develop the annual operational plan for the housing domain and drive implementation and measurement of that plan
  • Sit on Leadership Team and participate in decision making for the organization as a whole
  • Participate in training new Executive Director’s or program staff for Hope House affiliates
  • Responsible for developing, implementing and stewarding the budget for the housing support and the residential programs
  • Leads and manages residential program and housing staff in ways that enable them to grow and succeed through encouragement, feedback and coaching
  • Responsible for recruiting, hiring, training and supervising the housing support staff.
  • Promoting Hope House Colorado’s Core Values throughout the organization and external relationships
  • Responsible for development, implementation and measurement of the housing programs offered at Hope House
  • Assist in developing KPI’s associated with the housing domain and is responsible for reporting on those KPI’s
  • Responsible for driving teen mom growth along our self-sufficiency continuum
  • Responsible for understanding and tracking trends and available state and federal housing supports
  • Establish new partnerships and maintain and manage current partnerships that support our moms’ housing needs
  • Oversee residential and housing services processes and decision-making matrix
  • Lead the team in incorporating volunteers into programming in a manner that allows the personal, educational and economic programs to scale and grow, and is transformational for the volunteers and teen moms in relationship with those volunteers
  • Participate in the Housing Committee of the board
  • May receive emergency calls requiring action or delegation during non-business hours
  • Input relevant data into Development and Program databases
  • Collaborate with Development Team around storytelling, champion engagement opportunities related to program, and ensuring that Program staff understand and support Development's role
