Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Three years of experience in homeless and housing services.
  • Proficiency in software tools for case management and client tracking.
  • A valid Ohio driver's license with four points or less.
  • Proof of insurance.
  • A reliable personal vehicle for transportation to be utilized for work purposes.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Certification in Housing Quality Standards (HQS).

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients in navigating rental assistance programs like Section 8.
  • Ensure clients understand their options for affordable housing.
  • Conduct assessments and develop personalized case management plans.
  • Provide guidance and support to clients via phone and virtual meetings.
  • Document client progress meticulously.
  • Conduct outreach to community partners and housing providers.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss best practices and strategies.
