About The Position

Temporary hourly-intermittent student assistant position available in Housing & Residential Life. This role involves assisting with routine grounds and landscaping, cleaning tasks, trash collection, organizing supplies, general housekeeping, and supporting housing events.

Requirements

• Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
• Post-baccalaureate students in a graduate program must be registered in a minimum of four (4) Fall/Spring units.
• Must be available to work Monday-Sunday between the hours of 6:00a.m. - 2:30p.m.

Responsibilities

• Assist with routine grounds and landscaping such as planting, digging, raking leaves, edging, blowing, and debris cleanup, and pressure washing walkways
• Assist with carpet and upholstery cleaning, and stripping and waxing vinyl flooring
• Collect trash and recyclables on a routine basis
• Organize supply closets for grounds keeping equipment
• Assist department staff with general housekeeping such as vacuuming, dusting, cleaning surfaces and appliances, and sanitation of common areas in the community
• Assist with various housing events and conferencing such as move-in, move-out or other events that need additional support
• Other duties as assigned
