This position involves assisting in the resolution of tenancy problems, responding to complaints, and collecting rent and rent arrears. The role requires interviewing residents, investigating and verifying information, and informing tenants of Housing Authority rules and regulations. Responsibilities also include performing income and employment verifications for rent determination, conducting field visits for rent collection and addressing housekeeping concerns, performing rentals and annual/interim reviews, and processing lease renewals/contract rent changes. The position also requires attending administrative hearings and making court appearances. Assignments will be made throughout the borough of the Bronx. This position may be appointed on a provisional basis. This position is open to qualified persons with a disability who are eligible for the 55-a Program.
