This position involves assisting in the resolution of tenancy problems, responding to complaints, and collecting rent and rent arrears. The role requires interviewing residents, investigating and verifying information, and informing tenants of Housing Authority rules and regulations. Responsibilities also include performing income and employment verifications for rent determination, conducting field visits for rent collection and housekeeping concerns, performing rentals and annual/interim reviews, and processing lease renewals or contract rent changes. The position may also require attending administrative hearings and making court appearances. Assignments will be made throughout Queens & Staten Island.
