About The Position

Auburn University Housing is hiring student representatives who are knowledgeable about on-campus living. Housing Ambassadors welcome prospective students and their families and provide informative, engaging tours of the university’s six residential areas. They also assist students and families in the office with on-campus housing questions and information.

Requirements

• Must be enrolled as an Auburn University student.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook.
• Must understand customer service and public speaking and have a go-getter attitude.
• Must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher.
• Must be available to work at least 10 hours per week during office business hours, 7:45 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Lead residence hall tours for prospective students and their families.
• Answer the Auburn University Housing main phone line at the front desk.
• Answer the Housing email account.
• Assist guests with questions.
• Help other Auburn University Housing staff with projects and administrative duties.
