About The Position

Collegiate Hotel Group is seeking a Houseperson to join the team at Graduate Bloomington. The role is responsible for cleaning and maintaining hotel public areas to quality standards, keeping guest-facing spaces neat and free of rubbish and debris, and providing assistance to guests and housekeeping as needed. The position also requires greeting guests warmly and completing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally.

Responsibilities

Clean and maintain hotel public areas, including restrooms, hallways, and stairwells, to meet quality standards.
Clean bathrooms; dust furniture and pictures; and vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
Empty carts of soiled linen and dispose of trash.
Keep the lobby, elevators, stairways, hallways, and Front Desk area clean, neat, and free of rubbish and debris.
Clean and maintain public restrooms in a neat and orderly fashion; inspect them once per hour to ensure they remain neat and clean.
Remove spots, insects, and debris; polish fixtures; and clean ashtrays.
Deliver items to guest rooms upon request and assist in cleaning guest rooms as needed.
Greet guests in a warm and authentic fashion.
Perform other duties as assigned.
