About The Position

Blue Flame Management is seeking a dedicated Houseperson for the Hampton Inn Dupont. We offer competitive wages, flexible hours (full-time to part-time), and great worldwide hotel discounts. Blue Flame manages three hotels on the Northeast side of Fort Wayne: the Hampton Inn Dupont and the Hilton Garden Inn and Home2 Suites North (a dual property location).

Requirements

Ability to deal with various types of personalities and situations.
Ability to make fast and sound decisions.
Desire to reach perfection.
Ability to read and understand instructions, correspondence, and memos.
Availability to work weekends.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED
One to two years of experience
Knowledge of housekeeping and cleaning techniques

Responsibilities

Remove/collect soiled linens from rooms and drop in laundry chute or delivery to assigned area.
Remove/collect trash from rooms and properly dispose according to procedures.
Collect/empty trash from receptacles located throughout the hotel and the outside areas.
Inspect and clean guest common areas throughout the hotel.
Assist laundry and room attendants with job duties as assigned.
Sweep and mop emergency stairwells and landings as well as clean railings and exit doors.
May assist or be assigned to vacuum inside corridors if applicable.
