About The Position

The Houseperson is responsible for maintaining standards of quality and cleanliness throughout daily assignments in public spaces. This role involves cleaning and servicing assigned areas according to franchise and hotel standards, handling guest complaints to ensure satisfaction, and observing all safety and security procedures. The Houseperson will also complete deep cleaning tasks as scheduled and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum one year cleaning experience.
  • Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
  • Knowledge of proper chemical handling.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous hotel experience preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Cleans and services assigned public spaces according to franchise and hotel standards.
  • Handles guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Observes all house and safety rules, housekeeping procedures, and security procedures.
  • Returns and restocks cart at end of shift.
  • Completes additional deep cleaning / seasonal cleaning functions as scheduled.
  • Reports any maintenance deficiencies.
  • Ensures the confidentiality and security of all guest rooms.
