About The Position
The Houseperson is responsible for maintaining the standards of quality and cleanliness throughout daily assignments in the hotel. This role involves cleaning and servicing assigned public spaces according to franchise and hotel standards, handling guest complaints to ensure satisfaction, and observing all house and safety rules, housekeeping procedures, and security procedures. The Houseperson will also complete additional deep cleaning and seasonal cleaning functions as scheduled and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum one year cleaning experience
- Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
- Knowledge of proper chemical handling.
Nice To Haves
- Previous hotel experience preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
Responsibilities
- Clean hotel public areas as assigned, ensuring the hotel's established standards of cleanliness.
- Responsible for reporting any maintenance deficiencies and handling guest requests or complaints.
- Ensures the confidentiality and security of all guest rooms.
- Returns and restocks cart at end of shift.
- Complete additional deep cleaning / seasonal cleaning functions as scheduled.
- Other duties as assigned.
