Requirements

  • Possess a positive attitude and work well with other team members
  • Strong commitment to detail
  • Strong English skills both written and verbal
  • Be able to work unsupervised
  • Self motivated and able to take initiative
  • Reliable transportation
  • Available to work during days, evenings, overnights and weekends
  • Must be willing to work in Kamloops, BC
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada

Responsibilities

  • Cleaning public areas (pool deck, terrace, gym, all public washrooms, elevators, elevator landings, staff room, staff change rooms, restaurant, lobby area, banquet rooms and any other public space) according to task list which include but not limited to: Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming floors, Garbage & recycling removal, Dusting high and low surfaces, Wiping, sanitizing and cleaning all surfaces tops, walls, furniture and ledges, Cleaning windows and glass surfaces, Carpet cleaning, Cleaning public washrooms – sinks, toilets, urinals, floor, walls, stocking soap, toilet paper & paper towel
  • Cleaning offices as required
  • General ground maintenance – cleaning outside hotel which includes emptying garbage’s, sweeping, plant maintenance.
  • Waste management – empty the garbage and move all trash bags to the dumpster
  • Reporting maintenance issues
  • Performs other duties, as assigned, to meet business needs
