About The Position

As a Houseperson, you’ll help create guest experiences that are enjoyable and comfortable. This role involves assisting in the cleanliness of guest floor corridors, foyers, stairwells, and public areas. You will also manage room attendant carts, stock linen closets, and maintain the appearance of various surfaces and fixtures. This is a high-energy role that is anything but dull, requiring constant movement and interaction.

Requirements

At least one month of related experience.
Passion for customer service.
Ability to work with others seamlessly.
Ability to collaborate within a diverse team dynamic.
Ability to work calmly under pressure.

Responsibilities

Assist in cleanliness of guest floor corridors, foyers, stairwells and public areas.
Empty Room Attendant carts of soiled linen and trash.
Flip mattresses and move furniture as needed.
Stock linen closets with amenities and supplies for room attendants; may include taking supplies directly to room attendants.
Clean and remove spots from corridor walls and doors.
Polish and clean mirrors, room numbers on guest room doors, and elevator doors.
Vacuum, sweep, and/or mop hallways, stairwells, vending areas, and foyers.
Flip mattresses and move furniture as assigned by supervisor.
Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
Make sure all closets and linen chutes are locked at all times.
Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
Greet guests that you encounter during your shift with a friendly smile.
