About The Position

Hilton Garden Inn Morgantown is seeking a Morning Server to join their team. This role involves providing friendly, efficient, and professional food and beverage service to hotel guests during the morning shift (5:30 am - 1:00 pm). The server will be responsible for ensuring guests have a positive dining experience, from presenting menus and taking orders to delivering food and beverages and handling payments. The ideal candidate is quick, polite, friendly, and enjoys interacting with people in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Previous restaurant experience preferred.
• Knowledge of state liquor laws and responsible alcohol service.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Availability to work 5:30am -1:00pm

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and assist with seating as needed.
• Present menus and daily specials; answer questions about food and beverages.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and coordinate with the kitchen and bar.
• Maintain knowledge of all menu items, wines, and beverages.
• Handle payments and operate cash registers accurately.
• Monitor guests during meals to ensure all needs are met.
• Suggest desserts and deliver them promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization at all times.
• Resolve guest concerns with professionalism and escalate when necessary.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations.
