About The Position

A House Person is responsible for the set-up, break down, reset, and support work during events for all meetings, banquets, and Club events. A House Person is also responsible for maintaining the safety, cleanliness and organization of storage areas throughout the facility.

Requirements

  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
  • Frequent standing, walking, lifting, bending, stooping, squatting

Responsibilities

  • Setup tables, chairs, and linen for all events and meeting functions
  • Responsible for breakdown of event and meeting functions and reset room for next event function(s) as needed
  • Set tables with silverware, glassware and other items as necessary
  • Set up beverage stations and other front of house materials for meetings
  • Polish silverware, glassware, and plates necessary for event functions
  • Set up in-house dance floor, pipe & drape walls, and staging
  • Set up bar glassware for satellite bars
  • Set up basic Audio Visual including projector, screen, and microphones
  • Make sure all Club owned equipment and supplies are in proper storage after each event
  • Perform necessary duties during functions – include but not limited to presetting food and beverage items on tables, help run food on trays, serve food, serve beverage, assist with table clearing and coffee service, run and maintain buffet lines, etc.
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of dining room areas, service stations, and all F&B storage facilities
  • Stock and maintain team member break room as needed
  • Restock and cleans Honor Bar area as needed
  • Put away front of house supplies, materials, and inventory
  • Assist in liquor room and beverage storage organization and cleanliness
