About The Position

The Hotel Houseman is responsible for assisting the housekeeping staff in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of guest rooms, corridors, and public areas. This role ensures that guest accommodations meet the hotel's quality standards and that supplies are stocked and available. The houseman also supports team operations by transporting linens, amenities, and equipment as needed.

Requirements

• Ability to transport linens, towels, and cleaning supplies.
• Ability to maintain and organize housekeeping carts, storage rooms, and supply areas.
• Ability to respond promptly to housekeeping requests.
• Ability to ensure lost and found items are recorded and delivered.
• Ability to report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or guest concerns.
• Ability to uphold hotel standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest service.

Responsibilities

• Assist in cleaning and preparing guest rooms, corridors, and public areas according to hotel standards.
• Transport linens, towels, and cleaning supplies to and from guest rooms and housekeeping areas.
• Maintain and organize housekeeping carts, storage rooms, and supply areas.
• Respond promptly to housekeeping requests, including restocking amenities and supporting room attendants.
• Ensure lost and found items are recorded and delivered according to hotel procedures.
• Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or guest concerns to the supervisor.
• Support setup and turnover for events as needed.
• Uphold the hotel's standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest service.
