About The Position

PENN Entertainment is hiring a Housekeeping team member to clean and maintain casino and common areas. The role involves cleaning a range of surfaces and facilities, using cleaning solutions and equipment, replenishing restroom supplies, and removing trash and debris. Team members must follow established procedures and company policies, maintain confidentiality, and complete other related duties as assigned. Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience is preferred but not required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Willingness to learn and follow direction.
• Must be able to operate vacuum cleaners, floor machines, carpet extractors, mops, and brooms.
• Must perform duties with a sense of urgency.
• Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to issues.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.

Nice To Haves

• Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience.

Responsibilities

• Clean slot machines and surrounding areas, ash trays, slot bases, trash cans, restrooms, offices, public areas, windows and ledges, restaurants, lighting, walls, countertops, furniture, and decorative objects.
• Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop tile floors, and clean spills.
• Clean biohazardous materials according to established guidelines.
• Remove trash from containers and place it in dumpsters.
• Use cleaning solutions and equipment properly.
• Replace toilet tissue and refill paper towel dispensers.
• Clean and polish furniture, marble, brass fixtures, brass floor plates, entrance-door brass, and kick-door brass plates.
• Clean escalators and elevators.
• Know the locations of facilities in the casino.
• Straighten chairs as needed.
• Remove glasses, cups, paper, and debris from assigned areas according to procedure.
• Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies and procedures.
• Perform other related and compatible duties as assigned.
• Maintain strict confidentiality in all company matters.
