About The Position
NewYork-Presbyterian's housekeeping staff helps ensure a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for patients and their families at Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital. The Housekeeping Worker maintains cleanliness and a culture of compassion, caring, warmth, and support within the hospital. The role involves spending quality time with patients and families, building relationships, providing superior customer service, and helping ensure their comfort and safety. The position is part-time, with a day shift from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm and regular schedules on weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements
- Ability to handle automatic floor scrubbing machines, floor buffers, and wet and dry vacuums.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED.
- Hotel, restaurant, or retail experience.
- Customer service experience.
