About The Position

The Floor Supervisor in Housekeeping is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the department's functions, ensuring excellent customer service and adherence to departmental requirements and standards. This role acts as an active business partner, supporting the company's goals, objectives, vision, mission, and values.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a hotel housekeeping function
• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English
• Knowledge of hotel housekeeping operations
• Knowledge of housekeeping service techniques and cost controls such as manpower, productivity and other expenses
• Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office products; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

Nice To Haves

• Luxury hotel experience strongly preferred
• High school or equivalent education

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly inspect assigned areas to provide feedback to management and associates on cleanliness and maintenance against standards.
• Provide supervision, coaching and training to House Attendants, Public Area Attendants, Turndown Attendants and Room Attendants.
• Ensure the prompt return of clean rooms to reception for incoming guests when involved in guest room inspections and corrections.
