About The Position

The Housekeeping Supervisor ensures exceptional cleanliness standards and a positive experience for guests and employees by leading and motivating a team of room attendants in daily operations. This role requires strong leadership to communicate expectations, coach performance, and maintain team morale while ensuring compliance with company policies, safety guidelines, and operational procedures. The Supervisor is accountable for timely task completion, quality inspections, and upholding service standards, while also interacting professionally with guests to represent the property in a friendly, service-oriented manner.

Requirements

  • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail.
  • Prior supervisory experience, excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to lead a team and manage conflict.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel.
  • Valid BC Driver's License.
  • Ability to work with little supervision and maintain high level of performance.
  • Schedule flexibility to support peak periods and special events.

Nice To Haves

  • First aid certification is an asset but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all guest rooms and public areas are cleaned and maintained according to company standards.
  • Track and report maintenance issues, damages, and replaced items.
  • Enforce proper handling of guest property and found items.
  • Promote property safety by identifying and addressing hazards.
  • Assist other departments when operational needs arise.
  • Actively promote the company and provide information or recommendations to guests.
  • Adhere to all company policies, including health and safety, reporting incidents or injuries immediately.
