The Housekeeping Supervisor leads and coordinates a team of housekeeping staff, promoting teamwork and adherence to established procedures in order to maintain a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our guests.

Requirements

  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to maintain high cleanliness standards.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to interact with guests, staff, and management.
  • Problem-solving skills to address issues promptly and efficiently.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds.
  • Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead the housekeeping team, coordinate daily housekeeping operations, assign tasks, and ensure all areas of the resort are cleaned and maintained promptly and efficiently.
  • Train and onboard new housekeeping team members, ensuring they understand resort standards and procedures.
  • Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure they meet cleanliness and quality standards.
  • Oversee inventory management of cleaning supplies and linen to maintain adequate stock levels.
  • Collaborate with other departments to address guest requests and resolve issues promptly.
  • Implement and enforce safety and sanitation protocols to ensure a healthy and hazard-free work environment.
  • Report maintenance and repair needs to the appropriate departments for timely resolution.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
