A Housekeeping Supervisor with Embassy Suites Hotels is responsible for managing Housekeeping administrative paperwork, and inspecting designated guest rooms and/or public areas in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Responsibilities

  • Inspect rooms, verify and report status and/or discrepancies of rooms and enter into property management system (as needed)
  • Complete work orders, as needed
  • Perform Room Attendant, Janitorial, Laundry Attendant and/or Houseperson duties, as needed
  • Assist in training new hires, as needed
  • Respond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
  • Conduct department pre-shifts
  • Open housekeeping: check room inventory, assign rooms to room attendants
  • Manage lost and found program
  • Review team members' timecards, review payroll reports and create work schedules
  • Ensure stock rooms and carts are maintained with proper supplies
  • Place orders for housekeeping operating supplies and office supplies
  • Respond to guest assistance to resolve issues
  • Prepare VIP rooms including setting up special amenities
  • Supervise housekeeping and laundry team members to ensure productivity and operational effectiveness
  • Review CRM Best Guest Reports to ensure Honors recognition
  • Participate in Labor Management calls and support the manager to ensure labor standards are met
  • Address team member issues and do coach/counsel as needed
