About The Position

The Housekeeping Supervisor plans, directs, and coordinates community housekeeping programs to ensure the community is maintained in a safe, clean, and comfortable manner for residents and guests. The role develops housekeeping schedules, communicates changes to residents and/or family members, conducts daily inspections, coordinates apartment cleaning for rent-ready and move-in-ready units, trains staff on required policies and procedures, and hires and supervises the housekeeping team.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three years of housekeeping experience.
• One year in a supervisory or management position in housekeeping or environmental services.
• A friendly manner, eagerness to learn, and compassion for residents.

Responsibilities

• Develop schedules for the housekeeping team.
• Communicate cleaning schedule changes to residents and/or family members.
• Conduct daily inspections of the community interior and promptly address deficiencies to ensure community safety.
• Coordinate cleaning of rent-ready and move-in-ready apartments.
• Train new and existing staff in community and state-required policies and procedures.
• Hire and supervise the housekeeping team.
