About The Position

Overall Scope & Responsibility: Supervise the overall functions of the Housekeeping Department. Ensure room and inventory control. Work closely with Front office department to meet guest requests and hotel demand. Essential Duties: Open housekeeping: check rooms inventory, assign rooms to room/suite attendants. Inspect rooms, showrooms, VIP and suites. Complete reports, verify status reports; report clean suites to hotel front desk and/ or load into automated property management systems. Communicate discrepancies with Front Desk. Monitor payroll reports and work schedules. Monitor lost and found program. Ensure stock rooms and carts are maintained with proper supplies. Provide customer service to guests (internally/externally), including information about hotel services, activities, and local attractions. Promote team member loyalty and empowerment. Communicate and coordinate with Engineering the repair and maintenance programs as related to guestrooms and public areas. Monthly linen inventory. Ensure special guest requests are followed though. Manage the daily flow of the Department.

Requirements

  • Must be able to carry 10 lbs
