About The Position

The Housekeeping Supervisor oversees daily housekeeping operations at the Tempo by Hilton Downtown Nashville, ensuring guest rooms, hallways, and public areas meet cleanliness and brand standards. The role supports staff training, inspections, supply control, and efficient departmental operations while maintaining guest satisfaction. The supervisor oversees Room Attendants, House Attendants, and Laundry Attendants, and receives supervision from the Housekeeping Manager, Executive Housekeeper, or General Manager. The hotel has 306 rooms and 12,000 square feet of meeting and event space, along with multiple on-site restaurants, a social lounge, a rooftop outdoor pool with bar, a fitness center, and concierge service. The position requires flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, and the ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50–75 pounds. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
At least 1 year of housekeeping experience in a hotel environment.
Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to train, coach, and motivate team members.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Knowledge of cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and chemical handling.
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50–75 lbs.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

Hospitality coursework or certification preferred.
Prior supervisory or lead experience preferred.
Experience with housekeeping software or PMS systems such as HotSOS, OnQ, or Opera is a plus.

Responsibilities

Supervise and support housekeeping staff during daily operations.
Inspect guest rooms, hallways, and public areas for cleanliness and compliance with brand standards.
Assist with training new employees on cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.
Ensure carts, closets, and supply rooms are clean, stocked, and organized.
Address guest requests and resolve issues professionally and promptly.
Report maintenance concerns and ensure timely follow-up.
Monitor productivity and assist with scheduling and labor management.
Maintain accurate records of inspections, assignments, and supply usage.
Uphold all safety, sanitation, and company policies.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
