About The Position

The Housekeeping Supervisor oversees daily housekeeping operations in accordance with corporate and resort guidelines, ensuring high-quality standards and total guest satisfaction. This role is responsible for supervising housekeeping staff, maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the property, and consistently meeting established quality and timeliness standards.

Requirements

  • Must be able to lift 35lbs and work in outdoor weather conditions
  • Must be available to work on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and holidays
  • Two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, motivate, and manage all housekeeping personnel, including staffing, training, discipline, scheduling, and performance monitoring to ensure adherence to service and productivity standards.
  • Assign duties and review work for accuracy, neatness, and compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Complete assigned projects and track progress every month.
  • Communicate effectively with guests and employees, both verbally and in writing, providing clear direction and guidance to staff.
  • Organize, conduct, and/or attend meetings to share pertinent information.
  • Maintain regular attendance in accordance with company standards.
  • Display a professional image through appearance and conduct.
  • Follow company policies, philosophies, and procedures, and communicate them effectively to staff.
  • Develop and maintain high standards of excellence among housekeeping staff.
  • Assists in conducting annual performance reviews for team members and assists in ongoing training and development of new and existing staff.
  • Inspect carpets, drapes, furniture, and other areas for stains, damage, or wear, and report as needed.
  • Inspect and prepare pools and other public areas before guest arrival.
  • Ensure completion of assigned units daily, including cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas, balconies, and patios using established processes.
  • Restock housewares and supplies as needed and assist in maintaining organized storage closets.
  • Complete daily and weekly inspections to maintain quality standards.
  • Report engineering issues using established procedures and create work tickets in HotSoS.
  • Report all lost and found items to Lost Prevention and the Executive Housekeeper.
  • Maintain all resort equipment and property with care to prevent damage.
  • Attend all required training meetings and sessions.
  • Maintain a safe, hazard-free work environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
