About The Position

The Housekeeping and Laundry Supervisor plays a key role in providing the residents, staff and public with a safe, sanitary, comfortable and homelike environment by planning, organizing, and directing the housekeeping and laundry staff operations in accordance with state and federal regulations. Requirements

Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values to our residents, family members, customers and staff. Compassion, Accountability, Relationships and Excellence
One year of experience in an institutional housekeeping department
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Nice To Haves

Supervisory or management experience preferred

Responsibilities

Plan, organize, and direct the housekeeping and laundry staff operations in accordance with state and federal regulations
Lead and motivate others to follow proper safety and environmental regulations
Monitor, teach, mentor and supervise housekeeping and laundry aides on a daily basis
Work towards a common goal of excellent care for our residents
Provide cleaning and laundry services
Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for our residents
