About The Position

The Housekeeping and Laundry Supervisor plays a key role in providing the residents, staff and public with a safe, sanitary, comfortable and homelike environment by planning, organizing, and directing the housekeeping and laundry staff operations in accordance with state and federal regulations. Requirements

  • Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values to our residents, family members, customers and staff. Compassion, Accountability, Relationships and Excellence
  • One year of experience in an institutional housekeeping department
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Nice To Haves

  • Supervisory or management experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and direct the housekeeping and laundry staff operations in accordance with state and federal regulations
  • Lead and motivate others to follow proper safety and environmental regulations
  • Monitor, teach, mentor and supervise housekeeping and laundry aides on a daily basis
  • Work towards a common goal of excellent care for our residents
  • Provide cleaning and laundry services
  • Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for our residents
