Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial services, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment operation.
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and use personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly.
• Physical capability to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

• Certification in industrial cleaning or occupational safety.
• Experience with specialized cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers or pressure washers.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and related safety standards (e.g., OSHA).
• Basic understanding of waste management and recycling protocols.
• Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning and sanitization of manufacturing floors, equipment surfaces, restrooms, and common areas to maintain hygiene and safety standards.
• Dispose of waste materials properly and ensure recycling procedures are followed to support environmental sustainability initiatives.
• Monitor and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards observed during cleaning activities to the appropriate personnel.
• Restock cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring all tools are maintained in good working condition and stored appropriately.
• Collaborate with production and safety teams to comply with all health, safety, and environmental regulations relevant to the manufacturing environment.
