About The Position

Confidence Management Solutions (CMS) is currently recruiting experienced Housekeeping Staff for a long-term care nursing facility in Lancaster, PA. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout the facility, handling trash and waste disposal, and cleaning various areas. The position also includes responsibilities related to laundry processing and floor maintenance, such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and operating specialized floor equipment. On-the-job training is provided, and walk-ins are welcome to fill out applications in person.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Nursing Home, Senior Living, Hospital, or Healthcare experience required.
• 1-year long-term care, hospital, or healthcare experienced preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain proper cleanliness and sanitation throughout the facility.
• Dispose of trash, bio-hazard waste, and other materials.
• Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, and public areas.
• Process the linen for the facility and personal residents clothing.
• Operate commercial washers and dryers.
• Maintain all floors by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, shampooing, stripping, waxing, and buffing throughout the facility.
• Safely operate extractor, auto-scraper, high speed buffer, shop vac, side-to-side buffer, vacuum, and steam machine.
• Perform other job-related duties as they become required.
